• Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Treatments

     

     

    We  begin with some passive opening stretches on the back of the body, grounding and gently releasing the spinal column and shoulders. Deep tissue massage is done on the skin with neutral body oils suitable for any dosha or body type and often with essiential oils.  A session usually lasts 80-90 minutes. Oil is used sparingly in the deep tissue massage. Stretches are performed in conjunction with the coached rhythmic breathing of the client and always up to the clients individual limit. This allows stored and trapped tension, emotional, physical and environmental stress in the muscles to dissipate and dissolve. The release is tremendous and results in centeredness and clarity of mind.
